I am Running Because Concord has neglected/forgotten our towns out here in Sullivan County. Republican majorities in Concord have been forcing our towns to choose between untenable hikes in property taxes and hurtful cutbacks in education and other local needs. State policies that make town property taxes pay for 70% of public education costs (highest in the country!) are the culprit. So are bills that shortchange towns on the funds they are supposed to receive from the State. These policies damage our schools, our local economy, our property values and our families. I am running to fight for policies that treat all Granite State communities fairly!
